Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start therapy?

Beginning therapy is a simple process. First, we can meet for a free 15‑minute consultation to talk about your goals and see if we’re a good fit. From there, we can schedule a full intake session to begin our work together.

What can I expect in a session?

Sessions provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to explore your experiences. We will work at your pace to understand underlying patterns, process difficult emotions, and develop sustainable tools that foster long-term healing and self-compassion.

How often are sessions held?

Typically, meeting once a week is recommended to maintain momentum and build a strong therapeutic relationship. However, the frequency of sessions is flexible and can be adjusted based on your specific therapeutic goals and current progress.

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are offered via secure telehealth. You can join from a private space at home or work, using your phone, tablet, or computer. This allows us to meet consistently while fitting therapy into your real life.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes. I offer a sliding scale to help keep therapy accessible. Please reach out to discuss your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

I offer select insurance spots. Please contact me directly to discuss current availability.

What about out-of-network benefits?

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for significant reimbursement. I can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a significant life transition, or struggling with persistent feelings of anxiety, grief, or body dissatisfaction, therapy can offer specialized support. Reaching out is a brave step toward clarity and better health.
